An introduction to Court Farm Church

Court Farm Evangelical Church was founded in 1936 to meet the practical and spiritual needs for those coming to live in a newly built large estate. That ethos has not changed and is why we are still here today. Our congregation is in the main still drawn from the immediate and surrounding area.

We are not a large Church but comprise an all-age fellowship - literally ranging from babies to pensioners – and our family service on Sunday morning regularly attracts 60 - 80 people. Once a month as part of the 'Five Churches'  local affiliation we hold an evening service when we all join in fellowship and prayer.

We share our location with The Links Christian Medical practice having close ties with them since the Church first began. We also maintain close ties with the London City Mission and Geoff Hayward an LCM missionary was attached to the Church for many years until his retirement but that does not stop Geoff being an active member and Leader for one of our house groups.

Sunday ‘services’ are only part of the story.  We also have a lively youth program, clubs for young children and babies – The Ark every Thursday during school term from 9:30 to 11:30am. There are various mid-week groups both in daytime and evenings, and a network of House Groups meeting in peoples’ homes for fellowship, study and prayer..

We have been part of the community of Chislehurst and Mottingham for over 75 years and strive to be a church that has a community spirit. We welcome everyone; we are here to serve you and welcome the opportunity to do so.
