Our Mission and History
The mission of PAGE (Parent Advocates for Gifted Education) is to provide information, collaboration, and networking to help meet the needs of gifted children at home and in school.
PAGE was formed in the late 1980’s as an alliance between educators and parents in Southeastern Wisconsin who sought to provide ongoing excellent educational services for gifted students, and to provide support and networking for their parents. Over the years, PAGE has sponsored a wide variety of activities to enhance the academic, intellectual, creative, visual and performing arts, and leadership talents of gifted students. Additionally, PAGE has supported the social and emotional needs of gifted children, and has helped parents and teachers understand and respond to those needs.
