THINGS NOT NECESSARILY ART

This list is not comprehensive.  The things on this list are actions, concepts, approaches, attitudes and the like, all of which some people incorrectly believe automatically render their creative production "ART."  These things can be art, certainly, but do not guarantee art.  Please be assured that this list is NOT art.  To the extent any of these entries remind you of a particular artist, bear in mind that I am looking at these issues from a particular vantage point - nothing is ruled out.

Sometimes people fail to discipline themselves into going beyond a commodified black-turtleneck/vintage-mini-dress excuse for wine and cheese into something that is a real thing (an OBJECT in both the physical and the grammatical sense of the word).  Bearing in mind through all of this that I own my fair share of black turtlenecks and will drop everything for wine and cheese any time.  Mon lecteur, mon frere, and all that.
