Principal's Message
We did it!!! Thank you very much for all your hardwork and dedication preparing for the
one-day Accreditation midterm visit. Clearly a lot of work went into writing the report,
making preparations, and collecting evidences for the visitation. We will take the
recommendations from the visiting committee to make continuous improvements and
refinements for our school. Again, truly a concerted effort by ALL and I am truly grateful to
have such a committed team here at CMS!

Important News 

Bulldog Points
To promote positive school climate and encourage positive student behavior, we have implemented a school-wide incentive system called Bulldog Points. Each quarter students will work towards the opportunity to participate in a school-wide celebration. Students must maintain 80% of their total points allotted for that quarter.

CMS Attendance Policy Updated for SY 2014-2015
Please visit the Counselor's Corner to view our revised Attendance Policy for the upcoming school year. This policy includes attendance, absences, make-up work, tardies, off-campus pass procedures and truancy policies. 

Important Uniform Change Begins SY2014-2015
Beginning SY2014-2015, Central Middle School will be implementing a NEW UNIFORM POLICY. Unlike previous years, there will no longer be loaner uniforms for students to borrow. In helping our families plan for next school year, we are providing advance notice of our change in policy which can be found below.

Free and reduced meal plans dates updated for 2014-2015
All students who were eligible to receive free and reduced meals last year must submit a new application by September 09, 2013 to continue eligibility. Please fill out application completely (don’t forget parent/guardian signature).

It is our utmost priority to create a safe and optimal learning environment for ALL students. Student safety is paramount, therefore the teachers and staff members at Central Middle School (CMS) are committed to ensure that no child is harassed or bullied at school or during any school-related activities.

Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Accreditation Visit was from February 27 - March 1, 2012.  We received a 6-year accreditation term with midterm review by the WASC!
