Once a year, schools across the nation gather at their flag and pray for their nation. This month, September 27, at 7:10 A.M. is that time. Formally called See You At The Pole, this event spotlights our great American Nation in a time of prayer and thanksgiving.
First Priority Club(HS) Leaders Meredith Craig and Mark Blackmon will lead this event but they cannot complete the task without the help of their fellow Tigers! You do not have to be a First Priority member to attend this event and it is non-profited. However, we ask that each attendant bring canned food for those in Florida and Texas. This is not required, but it would be much appreciated. Remember to always help those who fall, get back again.
As always there is a theme for SYATP. This year's theme will be Fix My Eyes, meaning where we should have our focus in life.
What are we doing at the Pole?
- Worshiping at 7:15, songs are "The Great I AM," by New Life Worship and "Start a Fire." Singing those songs will be Meredith Craig and Maddie Taylor.
- After worship, there will a group prayer
- Mark Blackmon will speak.
- We will split into small groups with those around you (make sure your standing by your friends!)
All of First Priority Member are strongly urged to attend and to bring along many other friends. We hope to see you at the Flag Pole on September 27 at 7:15!
