Meet the Staff, Pt. 1

Hello everyone. I am a Junior and this years co-editor-in-chief, along with Mark Blackmon. My freshmen and sophomore year I was head of photography, or you might know me as the girl who was always walking around taking photos during the pep rally. To others I'm that "girl in yearbook," (i'm not). Along with photography, I also really enjoy knitting, reading, writing, history, and politics. I am excited to lead the newspaper with Mark this year, and I'm excited for everything we have in store.

Chelsey Zhu- Writer

Good day, all five of you who are reading this. My name is Chelsey, and I'm a junior at Central. This is my second year as a writer for newspaper, and I'm looking forward to the rule of Lindsey Bouldin and Mark Blackmon, our new overlords! I enjoy writing about politics and academics. When I'm not doing stuff for the Central Mag News, I'm usually hardcore fluting, shooting a bow and arrow, or drowning in a sea of homework. R.I.P. Mr. Crumm and the AP Latin Class of 2016.

I’ve been in the newspaper since 2014, and am currently in my senior year. My life at central is primarily dominated by the arts, more specifically the cello in the strings department (You’ve probably heard me from our 2015 production of Children of Eden, and you’ll see me play in Shrek in October.).
