Prom Checklist

Tomorrow is the big day...prom! To see how prepared you are, look at the prom must-do’s to make sure you have all of the basics.

1. Buy uncomfortable shoes you’ll probably end up taking off.
2. Have a minor heart attack when you realize how much money you’ve spent.
3. Make shaky, last minute plans with your friends for before prom.
4. Be pressured to pick the most stylish tux from hundreds that all have subtle differences, but really all look the same.
5. Find a place for pictures that is sort of attractive and not already crowded.
6. Learn how to dance so you won’t look like an idiot.
7. Make high expectations of what prom will be, and then watch them be crushed.
8. Have a Battle Royale for reservations at a restaurant.
9. Use enough hairspray that you are terrified to be near an open flame for fear of catching on fire.
10. Form a prom group that slowly grows until you don’t really know who’s in it.
11. Get a dress or tux, then worry about it fitting on the day of prom.
