What is CellSVG?

CellSVG is a EMCA javascript based framework to generate Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) for visualization of biological ( cellular) information. In CellSVG project we use Batick (SVG toolkit), JAVA as supporting programming language and SVG editors like Inkscape. Read more about SVG here

What is SVG?

SVG is a Graphics Markup for the Web. SVG is a markup language for describing two-dimensional graphics applications and images, and a set of related graphics script interfaces.
SVG is a widely-deployed royalty-free graphics format developed and maintained by the W3C SVG Working Group. SVG is a W3C Recommendation. SVG 1.1 is the most recent version of the full specification SVG Tiny 1.2 is a W3C Recommendation, and targets mobile devices. SVG 2 is currently under development, and will add new ease-of-use features to SVG, as well as more closely integrating with HTML, CSS, and the DOM.
