Update February 2021
Dear Families, Friends and Fans of Cape Elizabeth High School Baseball,
We hope you are all healthy and safe as we progress through these uncertain times caused by the COVID-19 virus.
The Cape Baseball Boosters works throughout the year on a number of behind the scenes tasks in support of the baseball program. As a nonprofit organization we rely on our community and the support of others. A few examples include working to provide the team and coaches with training, safety and field equipment they need to excel, uniforms and gear that demonstrate team unity and respect for the game and contributions to maintaining our facility, Holman Field, as an excellent field for our team—and those they host—to play on. Please know that the Cape Baseball Boosters are eager to get back to the work of fundraising but due to the COVID-19 virus the Cape Baseball boosters are taking their much needed fundraising efforts online with a GoFundMe 2021 Campaign gofundme.com/f/cebaseball <http://gofundme.com/f/cebaseball> Just click the link to make a tax deductible donation and with your donation we'll be ready to welcome the boys back to the field!
We hope you all remain healthy and safe and look forward to seeing you on the field again soon.
Thank you from all of us at Cape Baseball

Update January 2019:
Cape Elizabeth Baseball Welcomes Glenn Reeves New Varsity Baseball Head Coach
Former professional baseball player Glenn Reeves has been named the new head baseball coach at Cape Elizabeth High School.
Glenn signed with the Florida Marlins in 1993 out of his home country of Australia when he was just 19 years old and played 7 seasons with the Marlins organization reaching the AAA level.
He is best known locally for the time he spent playing for the Sea Dogs (at the time the AA affiliate of the Florida Marlins) where he was leading the league in hitting at .351 before he was hit by a pitch that fractured his wrist, cutting his season short. During that season he met his wife, Rachel, beginning his continued connection to Maine.
Additional highlights include playing in Fukuoka, Japan (1997) as a team member in a World All Star invitational tournament, and in 2000, having the honor of representing his country in the summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
He has played with and against many major league players, played for major league managers, and has spent much of his life around the game of baseball at the highest levels. He knows what it takes to be a successful baseball player both on and off the field and is excited to pass that knowledge along to our community of Cape Elizabeth players as he begins his tenure as the Varsity Coach at Cape Elizabeth High School.
