Tip Leads to Arrest
On 2-2-16 the Waterloo Police Department, acting on a tip from Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers, located and arrested Leeann Marie Kisner DOB 3-18-87, in the 600 Block of Wellington Street. Kisner was transported to the Black Hawk County Jail and booked in on 3 Probation Violation warrants.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Most Wanted Arrested
On 11-16-15 the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier and Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers listed Travis Cortez Neal DOB 2-28-85 as that week's Most Wanted suspect. On 1-29-16 the Waterloo Police Department, acting on a Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers' tip, located Neal in the 700 Block of Franklin Street. Neal was placed under arrest and transported to the Black Hawk County Jail and booked in on warrants for Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, Obstruction of Emergency Phone Call, Violation of a No-Contact Order, Failure to Appear (Domestic Assault Causing Injury) and Failure to Appear (Domestic Assault Causing Injury).

Tip Leads to Arrest
On 1-27-16 the Waterloo Police Department, acting on a Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers' tip, located and arrested Christopher Willie Wise DOB 12-21-95, in the 500 Block of W 9th Street. Wise was transported to the Black Hawk County Jail and charged with 2 counts of Probation Violations, Providing False Information and Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver.

Update
On December 21st the Cedar Falls Police Department and Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers asked for the public's help in identifying a woman reference a theft. Thanks to several Department of Corrections employees the female was identified as Amanda Marie Even DOB 2-21-77.
On 1-11-16 the Cedar Falls Police Department placed Even under arrest on the charge of Theft in the 3rd Degree.

Most Wanted Arrested
On 1-11-16 the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier and Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers listed Mark Edwin Klepper II DOB 6-13-82 as that week's Most Wanted suspect. On 1-13-16 Klepper turned himself in at the Black Hawk County Jail and was booked in on warrants for Theft in the 2nd Degree and Trafficking Stolen Weapons.

On 1-15-16 the Waterloo Police Department, acting on a Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers' tip, located and arrested Shannon Balava Vanarsdale DOB 7-8-73 in the 300 block of Charles Street. Vanarsdale was transported to the Black Hawk County Jail where she was booked in on a warrant for a Parole Violation.

Tip Leads to Arrest
On 12-31-15 the Waterloo Police Department and Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers asked for the public's help in identifying the male in the picture reference an alleged theft. Thanks to a tip the male was identified as Shaunte Decwon Hart DOB 9-17-80. On 1-12-16 Hart was placed under arrest in the 1400 block of Flammang Drive by the Waterloo Police Department.
Hart was transported to the Black Hawk County Jail and charged with Theft in the 5th Degree and 2 counts of Theft in the 3rd Degree, Interference with Official Acts and Criminal Trespass.

Jordan was transported to the BLack Hawk County Jail and booked in on warrants for Burglary 2nd Degree, Harassment 3rd, Assault on a Peace Officer, Theft 5th and Interference with Official Acts.

Most Wanted Arrested
On 12-28-15 the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier and Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers listed Lamont Coleman as that week's Most Wanted suspect. On 12-31-15 the Waterloo Police Department's Violence Crime Apprehension Team located and arrested Coleman in the 1200 Block of Black Hawk. Coleman was transported to the Black Hawk County Jail and booked in on two Probation Violations (Possession of a Controlled Substance x2 and OWI 1st), and a Failure to Appear (Pre-Trial Violation of Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver and Failure to Affix Drug Tax Stamp).

Tip Leads to Arrest
On October 28th the Cedar Falls Police Department and Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers asked for the public's help reference a Forgery. Thanks to a tip the male was identified as Maxie Lee Smith DOB 10-13-60. On 12-30-15 Smith was arrested by the Waterloo Police Department and transported to the Black Hawk County Jail where he was booked in on a warrant for Forgery.

Wanted-10/28/15- Forgery/Theft (Cedar Falls)

Cedar Falls Police Seek the Public’s Help in Identifying Forgery / Theft Suspects

Cedar Falls Police are asking for the public’s assistance to help solve two on-going investigations. A female reported the she lost her wallet in the area of the Cedar Falls Hy-Vee at 6301 University Avenue on the afternoon of October 7th.  She returned home and reported the lost credit card to her local bank.  She learned that the card had already been fraudulently used several times within the hour.  An unknown person(s) charged over $1,000.00 worth of clothing items at the Cedar Falls Von Maur and Victoria Secret.  The three attached photos (named College Square #1, #2, and #3) are store surveillance photos from the Von Maur store.  The two persons depicted in the photos are suspected of being involved in this credit card forgery.

The second investigation involves a stolen computer from Wal-Mart.  The Cedar Falls Wal-Mart reported that on October 20th a male removed a security device from a display computer and left the store after concealing the computer under his clothing.  The computer was valued at $190.00.  The male is seen leaving the parking lot in an unknown model white SUV.  The male suspected of committing this theft is in the attached store surveillance photo named (Wal-Mart #1.)  He appears to be a tall, slender white male in the surveillance photo.
