I have a
PhD in Economics from the University of Turin (Italy) where I have also been
teaching assistant in Microeconomics and lecturer in Macroeconomics at the
Faculty of Political Sciences. I have been research fellow at the European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises (EURICSE, Trento, Italy), at the Department of Economics of the University of Turin, and then post-doc fellow at the Centre of Research in the Economics of Development (CRED) at University of Namur (Belgium). More recently, I have been senior researcher at the Nordic Africa Institute in Uppsala, Sweden. I have been visiting scholar at DIAL, in Paris, and at UNU-WIDER (Helsinki, Finland). I have also been working as a consultant for development agencies, mostly in interdisciplinary contexts. My main research interests are the Development Economics, Economics of Cooperative Enterprises and Non-Profit, Migration, Gender, and Labour Economics. |
