SCHOLARSHIPS

Details below represent revisions to the ECC scholarships which went into effect in Spring 2014

Spring Scholarship Auditions
  • The ECC each spring holds formal audition classes for various scholarships, open to students who are working in the Method with ECC member teachers.  Applicants must be recommended by their ECC member teacher.  Teachers should recommend only those students who can maturely approach the competitive nature of a scholarship audition.  Students are judged on style and quality as well as technique, with future potential as reflected by these taken into consideration also.  Parents and presenting teachers are responsible for preparing applicants for the full nature of the competitive experience.
  • These awards may not be carried over to seasons other than that for which they are originally awarded, nor are they transferable to another winner.
  • Awards at each level are based entirely upon the decision of the adjudicators of specific auditions, and judges have always at their discretion the option to declare or not to declare a Winner or a Runner-up.
