Shiatsu

Shiatsu Massage, meaning “Finger pressure” occurs on a shiatsu mat on the floor. In each session, I will diagnose your body’s imbalances and will stimulate certain energetic pathways flowing through your body to bring you back into a state of physical ease.  This practice is used as a preventative method in Oriental medicine and is not meant for the occasional massage. If you are interested in Shiatsu massage, please consider it an on-going investment in your health.

"Shiatsu technique refers to the use of fingers and palm of one's hand to apply pressure to particular sections on the surface of the body for the purpose of correcting the imbalances of the body, and for maintaining and promoting health. It is also a method contributing to the healing of specific illnesses."
