Athletic Massage

Athletic Massage is a very specific technique that is used right before, during, or right after an athletic event such as a marathon or any competitive sport.  It is very effective for relieving muscle fatigue, to relieve swelling, to promote flexibility in muscles and ligaments, reduce pain, and decrease recovery time after intense training. This technique incorporates more aggressive and quick motions, and while the whole body can be addressed, it is usually a more targeted massage to one or two areas.
