Introduction
Short Bio
Csaba Domokos graduated from the University of Szeged, Hungary and received Master's degrees in Computer Science, Informatics (Institute of Informatics) and Mathematics (Bolyai Institute) in 2004, 2006 and 2010, respectively. He conducted his Ph.D. research (2006-2010) under the supervision of Prof. Zoltan Kato at the Department of Image Processing and Computer Graphics, University of Szeged. He obtained the Ph.D. degree (summa cum laude) in 2011. After working as a scientific programmer at a startup company for one and a half year, in 2012 he joined to the Learning and Vision Research Group, National University of Singapore, directed by Prof. Shuicheng Yan, where he worked as a Research Fellow (i.e. post-doctoral researcher). In 2014-2015 he also worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Computer Vision and Machine Learning Group, Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria), headed by Prof. Christoph H. Lampert. Between 2015 and 2018 he was an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow (postdoc) at the Computer Vision Group, Technical University of Munich, directed by Prof. Dr. Daniel Cremers. Since June 2018 he is a research scientist at Bosh Center for Artificial Intelligence in Renningen, Germany. Since 2019 he has been a member of governing board of the Hungarian Association for Image Processing and Pattern Recognition.
