South Australian Cave Diving Research & Related Reports/Publications

Hello and welcome. This is a free site containing a variety of research reports and articles etc involving cave diving and related projects which I either coordinated or was involved with in some manner since the mid-1970s, in particular through the Mapping and Research Group of the Cave Divers Association of Australia (CDAA) Inc., the South Australian Underwater Speleological Society (SAUSS) Inc. and the Cave Exploration Group of South Australia (CEGSA) Inc. (Please go to the link at https://sites.google.com/site/cdiverepts2/ to access the SAUSS and CDAA reports).

Viewers are welcome to download and print anything herein as long as the source/s are duly acknowledged. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank fellow cave divers Ken Smith and Dean Laffan for providing me with both the opportunity and the digital/computing tools to be able to convert these reports into a format that would enable others to easily gain access to this information ... information which itself was only obtained through the accumulated experience of the many cavers and cave divers who have assisted me, and with whom I have shared many wonderful experiences, over the past 45+ years.

Some of the attached reports are simple basic scans of old documents which were originally typed up using good old-fashioned cotton-ribbon typewriters and the like, and I am slowly updating/retyping/digitising them as opportunities permit.

I really hope that you will find the attached material of interest and welcome feedback; please feel free to email me via <ppuddles@yahoo.com.au> as I do not monitor my Gmail account.

Safe caving and diving,
