Non-CAST-members $15 and get a year’s membership to CAST
Credit: 7 contact hours of Professional Development credit

What does an effective science program in the 21st century look and feel like?
What role does data and data analysis play in the 21st century science classroom?
In this interactive workshop teachers will collaborate and explore research based techniques to engage students with Colorado’s 21st century skills and the Colorado Academic Standards in science.
· Increase their comfort level with and pedagogy in teaching Colorado’s 21st century skills using active student engagement and inquiry.
· Explore the idea of active engagement of students in their learning
· Explore tools that create connections necessary for student understanding
· Explore and use tools that can help engage students with the 21st century skills in science around data and data analysis.
