From 2010 to 2015, I held a (Postdoctoral) Research Associate position at the Computational Genetics Laboratory of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College and at the Institute for Biomedical Informatics (IBI) at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, under the mentorship of Prof. Jason H. Moore.

In the spring of 2010, I graduated with a double Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Marco Tomassini at the Information Systems Department (ISI) of the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC) of the University of Lausanne (UNIL), Switzerland, in collaboration with the Computational Biology Unit (CBU@MBC) of the Molecular Biotechnology Center of the University of Torino (UNITO), in Italy, under the supervision of Prof. Ferdinando Di Cunto. This research project was funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (FNS) and the Conference of the Rectors of the Swiss Universities.
