What are some strategies for involving students in the Mathematical Practices #3: Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others? This webinar will focus on critique. Students need to learn how to critique their own and other’s thinking and reasoning in order to create solid arguments and clearly communicate their thinking. Mathematics consultants, Julie Conrad and Kathy Renfrew, from the Vermont Department of Education will lead this interactive webinar. Headsets are recommended for participants.
