This course explores the United States from 1865 to the present.  The curriculum covers social, economic, and technical advances, as well as the changing role of the United States on the world stage.   Students will develop various historical inquiry skills throughout the course

This course provides students with the skills and knowledge required to participate responsibly as informed citizens in the American political and economic systems.  Students will explore the role of the citizen to gain an understanding of the importance of civic duty, including community service.
