CCL NH Lobby Day Games

Every June and November, CCL volunteers head to Washington DC to build relationships with every member of Congress, and ask them all to work together and take effective climate action like passing the bipartisan, fair, and beneficial Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act.  Registration for the November Lobby Day is open through October 20!  You can learn more about it at https://citizensclimatelobby.org/november-lobby-day-2019/.

The CCL NH Lakes Region chapter has formally challenged the other six CCL NH chapters to the First Semi-Annual CCL NH Lobby Day Games!  This is a friendly competition between chapters to amplify the voice of the CCL volunteers who will journey to Washington DC to lobby Congress, by using local methods of creating the political will for climate action.  We also hope this will promote camaraderie across NH CCL members.

Scoring is as follows:

There will be two prize categories: (1) highest overall score, and (2) most improved. The competition will run through the months of October and November. We will check in on the progress in November and the final winners will be announced in December. The winning chapter will get bragging rights, acknowledgment via CCL NH social media, and the warm feeling of knowing that we've all helped move the ball closer to solving our climate crisis!

Please earn us a point right now while you are thinking of it: sending an email to Congress is a quick way to get a point, and each of us can do it every week!  You can put this in your online calendar to send yourself a reminder - it only takes a few seconds to do if your browser remembers your contact information.  Thanks!
