Charlotte Cloe Fox Wind  Costume Designer, Cutter/Draper


CHARLOTTE CLOE FOX WIND has been a designer and costume technician in the Greater Philadelphia Area and Delaware Valley for 16 years.  Known for her scholarly yet intuitively creative and original approach, her work has been recognized by the professional Philadelphia theater community through four Barrymore Award nominations for Best Costume Design and most notably the receipt of the F. Otto Haas Award for Best Emerging Artist in 2009.  Cloe earned her M.A. in Theater from Villanova University in 2002. Since then, she has designed for the Arden Theater Company (Barrymore nominated Ghost Writer), Interact, 1812 Productions, Theater Exile among many other professional theater companies.  Her Villanova design credits include Barrymore nominated Don Juan, The Illusion, and Le Dindon.  She has draped and cut patterns for The Wilma Theater, Arden Theatre Company, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, and Villanova Theatre. From 2005-2007, she taught costume design at University of Pennsylvania. In 2002, Cloe won the Barrymore Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Roxie Hart in Villanova Theatre’s Chicago.
