The Fleadh Office will be open at the hotel during the weekend to assist competitors as follows:
 
Thursday  3-7
 
Friday  2-7
 
Saturday 8-4
 
Sunday 8 - till closing (probably by 4pm)
 
 
 

 
2014 Mid Atlantic Region Fleadh and Hall of Fame Induction
April 25-27, 2014
Hilton Parsippany Hotel, One Hilton Court, Parsippany, NJ 07054

Note - the North American Convention of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann
will take place in the hotel the same weekend.  We expect a full house and 
an unbelievable weekend of music and dance.  Book your room immediately
as the hotel is expected to completely sell out shortly.  Some of the events to expect:

We are honored and excited to have the entire professional performing
troupe from the Bru Boru Cultural Centre in Cashel, County Tipperary
joining us for the weekend.  They will bring their spectacular
stage show to our Saturday Gala Banquet, and will be featured at many
other events throughout the weekend.

Fleadh
For the first time ever, the Convention will wrap around one of our Provincial Fleadhanna.
Come be a part of our celebration of the “bloom of youth” who are the future of our cultural movement.
 
Hall of Fame Night
The Friday night ceili will include the installation of four musicians Kathy DeAngelo & Dennis Gormley, Willie Kelly and Charlie Mulvihill (R.I.P.) into 
the Mid Atlantic Region Hall of fame.  Expect great music from Hall of Famers past and present, followed by the Bru Boru team.
 
Convention Program includes:
Ceilithe and Concerts, Instrumental, Singing, Irish Language, Set Dance, Ceili and Sean Nos Dance Workshops 
 
Please note:
because of the overlap of the Convention with the Fleadh,the Convention music workshops will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014
 
Optional Bus Tour
The Convention offers a scenic tour to Manhattan Island which may include the Freedom Tower, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Midtown With other selected highlights as time and traffic permit. 
 
The Fleadh competitions will be on all day at the Hilton Hotel so people may want to escape into New York City on Saturday. The cost is $70 per person, which includes transportation and lunch.  Further Details will be available on our website as they are finalized.  Advance reservations will get priority if space is limited and will help us calculate how many buses we may need.
 
Newark Airport is the airport of choice.
N.B: JFK or LaGuardia require interstate Taxi fares & tolls or long public transit transfers.
 
Airport Transportation
We have chosen Patrick’s Limo Service for regular Newark Airport pickups to and from the Hilton Hotel in Parsippany beginning Thursday, April 24, 2014 through Sunday, April 27, 2014.  Grouping arrivals and departures is the most efficient way to provide reasonable service for all.One way fare is $30 per person ($US) and reservations must be made in advance to:  Mike Cogavin: (201) 230- 2753
