As of 2017 I'm a final year DPhil student at Brasenose College, Oxford studying under the supervision of Prof. Jotun Hein. My research is focussed on modelling the evolution of biological structures, such as base-pair evolution in RNA structures and correlated evolution in three-dimensional protein structures.

In 2013, I completed my MSc in Medicine specialising in Bioinformatics at the University of Cape Town's Computational Biology Group under the supervision of Dr. Darren Martin. My research there focused on computationally identifying biologically relevant RNA secondary structures within virus genomes.
