"What we want for our children . . . we should want for their teachers: that schools be places of learning for both of them, and that such learning be suffused with excitement, engagement, passion, challenge, creativity and joy."
This quote from Andy Hargreaves (Development and Desire: A Postmodern Perspective) really embodies my motivation for creating this website, which began as my course project in 1998 in Sheila Gersh's "Teaching with Technology" course at CCNY for NYC teachers, later expanded in 2006 to cover more areas I was exploring as director of curriculum and technology at Teachers Network, and now is in its "modern" revised format to support my work as an instructional coach and consultant in urban school districts. This is my 20th year in education and I still passionate about helping educators infuse their classrooms with technology in meaningful, authentic and seamless ways. Everything here has been vetted by classroom teachers!
