Nine to be baptized
Baptism of NINE in Mirror Lake July 30, 2017

Previous baptisms in Mirror Lake

Head of the church: Jesus Christ
Pastor: Rev. Greg Vigne

We have resumed in-person worship services Sundays at 10am.A

Adult & children's Sunday School remains suspended

Worship services are not being broadcast live on our closed Facebook group for the time being due to technical problems.
They are publicly available by early Sunday afternoon at:

Beginning May 16th, the following protocols will be followed:

If ill, or have been exposed to someone with Covid, please remain home and let us know so we can pray for you.

Masks will be optional in the sanctuary during the service. Distancing will be at individuals’ discretion.

Windows will be cracked to provide some ventilation.

All who want to wear masks and/or social distance are completely welcome to do so. Those in worship and church activities should respect the wishes of others—to mask or not to mask; to distance or not to distance.

Beginning May 23rd, we will trying to have “Coffee Hour” either outside or downstairs. If you would like to help facilitate that please sign up and refer to the food protocols provided.

In implementing these protocols please take responsibility for your interactions and communication with others. We would like to engender a community in which we are open to each other and with each other. As part of respecting each other, please ask permission before interacting with others, so that their concerns and wishes can be understood and respected. This promotes a community of consent. This will look like:

If someone is distanced, ASK before approaching them if it is OK to do that.

If you would like to hug—ASK before reaching out, and respect the other’s choice.

If someone is masked and you are not, —ASK before approaching them or engaging in conversation. It is as simple as asking, “Are you OK if we stay distanced and talk here, or would you prefer to go outside?”

If you are masked and someone sits “too close” in a pew next to you (or in front or behind you). Please move to a place you are comfortable.

If you are masked & feel uncomfortable during the times of singing, please move to a place where you are comfortable (Downstairs? Outside?).

We recognize that we all have different experiences, thoughts and ideas about the pandemic and we each have our unique health issues and different levels of comfort with risks.

Please EXTEND GRACE to others—if they get up and move, if they ask you to mask,  if they request distance—as we respect one another’s comfort level.  We don’t know each other’s “backstory” but we do want to grow together as Christ’s community here at CBC now and in the future.

Also please let us know if you have other ideas for how we can promote unity, growth and health in our congregation.

We have a closed Facebook group for our congregation.
