Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

10th ICCS APR CONFERENCE (29th October – 2nd November 2015)

The Conference will be held at The Peace & Unity Center in Paju City, Korea. It is hosted by the Korea Catholic Scouts and supported by the Korea Scout Association.

The Theme of the Conference is: Promoting the Gospel Values through Scouting.

Scouting is an international youth movement. One of the requirements to be a Scout is to believe that there is a God as it is enshrined in the Promise and Law.

Quote: On my honour I promise to do my best, To do my duty to God, my Country and to obey the Scout Law.

At the 9th Conference held in Manila, it focused on the ‘future direction of ICCS targets the youth as the New Evangelisation…’

It will be appropriate and timely for this Conference to focus on the the basics and the Word after celebrating 100 years of Catholics in Scouting then. Our Leaders often forget to highlight and promote the gospel values of the PROMISE and the LAW when conducting Scout activities and projects.

The Conference is open to all our members, Scout Leaders who are Catholics or non Catholics and interested in the activities of ICCS.

The speeches and workshops at the Conference will be inspirational; the visits to places of interests will be exciting and educational; the fellowship activities will be enjoyable and ‘yammy’ and the cost of participation is affordable for all.
