Chalkface

In 2022, Catherine will be starring as teacher Pat Novitsky in the new Australian play by Angela Betzien called Chalkface. Alongside Catherine, are actors: Susan Prior, Nathan O'Keefe, Michelle Ny, Stephanie Somerville and Ezra Juanta. A co-production between State Theatre Company of South Australia and Sydney Theatre Company, it is directed by Jessica Arthur.

Set in the staffroom of fictional West Vale Primary School, Pat is a brilliant teacher, but over the years she has become bitter and jaded about the profession she loves.
