Participation Stations

In addition to the performances throughout the afternoon, there will be several participation stations set up around the park.

Station #1: Regina Speech Centre will be returning to Funville with sensory activities to enjoy. They are a private speech and language therapy clinic that aims to provide quality, family centered therapy services to children and families in Regina and the surrounding area.

Station #2: CC RezQs will be joining the Funville festivities this year with their cutest puppies that are ready for cuddles and new families! CC RezQs has been rescuing dogs from reservations across the prairie provinces for 5 years this month!

Station #3: The Regina Early Learning Centre will be returning to Funville and using their green space next to the park to offer light and shadow exploration for participants.

Station #4: Kindermusik Regina will be offering an instrument making station as well as opportunities to share in songs and games relating to this year’s festival theme “Share Your Light”.

Station #5: The Cathedral Astronomy project will be returning to Funville giving participants the opportunity to safely view the Sun through their solar telescopes and answering questions about space.

Station #6: The 2019 SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival marks our 15th year! Come make a kite, enter our colouring contest, and get a fun tattoo! We hope to see you at Windscape too, which takes place on June 22 and 23 in Swift Current!

Station #7: Education Youth in Engineering and Sciences (EYES) will be returning to Funville this year with an opportunity for participants to use science to create light.

Station #8: The Saskatchewan Science Centre will be returning to Funville this year and offering the opportunity to design, decorate, and build your own LED stickers.

Station #9: The Lakeshore Tennis Club is joining our Funville festivities this year and sharing their light through laughter and their love of tennis.

Station #10: School of Rock Regina will be will be providing a snare drum, cymbal, guitars, keyboard, and microphone to create a musical petting zoo at their station and encouraging participants to discover their inner rockstar.

Station #11: Regina Fencing will be returning to Funville this year and offering participants the chance to try the sport and see if they light up.

Station #12: Summer Sports School will be returning to Funville this year and offering the chance to try out various sporting equipment such as a soccer ball, frisbee, football, bean bags, hula hoops, scoop balls, wiffle balls, and more.

Station #13: Paramedics with Heart will be joining Funville this year and are bringing some of their emergency vehicles for participants to explore!
