The CVAF is proud to present this premiere performance by FadaDance Youth Company! t-e-x-t is a contemporary dance show created, danced, and self-directed by the FadaDance Youth Company. This exciting performance explores the relationship of words and language within the world of dance. 

FadaDance Troupe includes a pre-professional training program for dancers ages 13-20. The FadaDance Youth Company empowers young dancers as artistic creators and dance technicians.

11 am: Zone 7 Square & Round Dance & Clogging Association – Performance and Workshop 

Zone 7 Square & Round Dance and Clogging Association is one of 8 zones of the Saskatchewan Square & Round Dance Federation. This social, non-competitive, fun activity is a form of recreation for people of all ages and all walks of life, from teens to seniors. It enhances health and well-being, both physically and mentally, and is a life-long form of recreational enjoyment and an art for making friends.

12 pm: Salsa Colada - Workshop and Performance

Salsa Colada fuses multiple Latin dance styles such as salsa, merenge, cha cha, bachata, and lambada, to name a few! Classes are geared to everyday people looking to learn these beautiful dance styles and surround themselves with wonderful music. Ladies and children benefit from Salsa Colada's recreational classes, which provide fun, exercise, and a way to relieve the stress of their busy lives.

1 pm: Class Act Studios - Performance

Class Act Studios is recognized for providing a relaxed but dynamic and professional atmosphere that encourages confidence, self-expression, and creativity through the enjoyment of dance. They empower their performers to perfect their technical skills and support them in achieving their aspirations. Their studio is open to students of all ages and levels, and it provides the environment for all performers to reach their full potential. 

2 pm: Regina Association of Middle Eastern Dance - Workshop and Performance

The Regina Association of Middle Eastern Dance (RAMED) is a non-profit organization that promotes and increases public awareness and acceptance of Middle Eastern dance. Regina has a well-established community that offers opportunities for dancers to connect and create through classes, local gatherings, and professional workshops with instructors from around the world. They love sharing this beautiful dance form and offer opportunities for dancers of all levels to experience the joy of this expressive art.
