hey guys. i just bought a new imac, so it's time to say goodbye to this old thang. here are the specs: 15" monitor (and it swivels, i mean c'mon!!) OS X Tiger 10.4.11 Processor: 1 GHz PowerPC G4 Memory: 512 MB DDR SDRAM (originally 256MB, upgraded) L2 Cache (per CPU):256 KB Bus Speed: 167 MHz Boot ROM Version: 4.6.8f4 120GB hard drive (originally 80GB, upgraded) Airport Extreme Wireless Card external speakers apple keyboard and mighty mouse i purchased it in october of 2003. i still have the box and the receipt. upgraded the mouse to the mighty mouse..still have the box/receipt for that as well. i originally paid $1299+tax and i'm only asking for $380, that's all it's worth. how sad. if you're lookin for a cheap mac..this is the one. it rules. and it has GOOGLY EYES! *the only problem i've ever noticed with this computer is sometimes the speaker connection is a little weird, you just have to wiggle the wires around for a sec and it works fine. it's been doing that since day 1, but i never had it looked at. other than that, everything is fine. if you're in the chicago area and you are interested, send me a message and we can arrange a pickup! hurry up before i put this shit on craigslist. thx!

Since I've been staying with my grandparents, I've been using the Android feature to turn my phone into a mobile hotspot by tethering my 3G data connection since they don't have a wireless router. And, considering how I've been working and playing as usual, and using this feature exclusively for EVERYTHING interwebz related, you could imagine how much throughput my little phone has seen. I was't at all worried though, since I have unlimited data* Oh what's that? An asterisk? Yea, I wasn't aware of that when I signed up! Apparently after hitting a 500MB ceiling, they automatically slow you down. And then let you know by texting you (how ironic, since that's data) You could imagine my reaction when receiving this in the middle of the night while watching bullshit on YouTube. Whether or not there was anybody at the other end of that message, I didn't care. They needed to know how I felt about this surprise interruption in my service quality. Luckily, it will return to regular speed at the start of the next billing cycle in a few days ... And I suppose streaming music from Last.fm the entire time wasn't very smart, either ...
