Liverpool Skyline, from Crosby, a different angle.
Viewed from a low tide at Blundelsands, not saying this is a great picture, but I just get excited to be able to see this view all the way from Crosby, without a boat... if you've been on the beach and had a look at Liverpool, you would know what I mean, normally obscured by Seaforth.... suppose you could get this view at high tide too, but you would need a boat. You should be able to spot a few of the Anthony Gormley Another place Iron men in view. This is cropped from a 200mm IS snap, handheld, so given the distance, wind, and chill factor, if you try you can just about make out the time on the Liver building clock. You can also see the full length of the Liverpool water front, in front of the Beetham tower is Waterloo warehouse, moving along you can see other towers, the Liver-building, you can see the port of Liverpool building peeping above that, with the new Museum building and the Albert dock and others further along. Again, not technically a great shot, none of mine really are, but as I said I'm just excited that you can capture this without a boat...

Merseybus1944, North Western 382, Park Rd, Liverpool c1990 I don't have an exact date for this yet, but as I scan all my negatives and refer to my notes, I'll put the pieces together in due course. Here Merseybus Atlantean 1944 is followed by North Western Dennis Falcon no 382 out of the city along the splendour of Park Road into Liverpool's Dingle area, the sitcom suburb. This was the view to be had when arriving as a visitor by road from the city's south end.
