In January 2007 I began making tombstones out of Styrofoam sheets. These are a work in progress and still need distressing and painting and in some cases, bases. Check back often as I'll be adding new pics all the time.

 Detail of carving...

Finishing some of them up with exterior latex paint. We painted them a dark gray and then did the shadow parts in a darker gray, and then dry\brushed with a very light gray.

I added some weather stain looking drip marks on a couple with a watered down dark gray.

We only have the dark base coat on our big celtic cross as yet...

I Finally put the base coat and most of the dark indentations on the cross tombstone (the base is still wet so I couldn't paint the dark seams yet). And I still need to dry brush it with lighter shades. But it's taking shape...

Cross finally finished...

Another Tombstone I knocked out last week...
