About the Coalition

The Cascade Prevention Coalition (CPC) was formed in the fall of 2011.  The CPC works to increase prevention leadership in Upper County, offers the parenting education program Love and Logic, supports Safe Homes, and continues to work to reduce alcohol and marijuana availability to youth and develop healthy youth activities in Upper Kittitas County.

 Teams:

Assessment Team

The CPC Assessment Team regularly evaluates the prevention needs of Upper Kittitas County to insure that the work of the coalition is pertinent to our ever-changing community.

Consequence Team

Volunteers address priority substance abuse issues through community assessment, policy review and collaboration with community partners.

Prevention Education Team

Volunteers addressing priority substance abuse issues through community education campaigns and providing parenting education programs to increase family communication. 

Youth Coalition Team  

Upper Kittitas County youth advocating for substance abuse prevention and organizing healthy youth activities in our community.
