Consequences Team

Volunteers address priority substance abuse issues through community assessment, policy review and collaboration with community partners

Alcohol Purchase Surveys:

CPC members completed an APS training, recruited youth operatives, and conduct on going APS operations in CLe Elum and Roslyn.  Alcohol laws education flyers were distributed prior to implementation of surveys. 

  • Cle Elum-Roslyn-South Cle Elum Police Department (CERSCEPD), Washington State Patrol (WSP), and the Kittitas County Sheriff;s Office (KCSO) work together to provide extra enforcement patrols in Upper Kittitas County.
  • CERSCEPD and KCSO participate in a controlled Party Dispersal and Source Investigation Training.
  • CERSCEPD officers participate in training on Telephonic Search Warrants, Advanced Roadside Impaired Driver Education, and Interview and Interrogation. 
  • Emphasis Patrols are conducted in Upper Kittitas County.
Compliance Checks:

CERSCEPD conduct checks on eight New Spirit Licensees. Six businesses passed and citations were issued to employees of the two businesses that sold alcohol to a minor.  Compliance Checks are ongoing in Upper Kittitas County.

Kittitas County Tip Line

An anonymous telephone tip line for the reporting of underage drinking parties was launched and advertised. Tip Line information cards were distributed to all Kittitas County schools and many organizations county wide.
