This is a site I made to post simple cartoons I made too. it is an additional site because I have 2 other sites that I post cartoons that I made too, and those are:
I created this site today 21 Nov 2015 because cyber criminals tried to hijack my blog at https://cartooning-by-gloriapoole.blogspot.com and it took me 2 hours to get back into it. I made some changes trying to secure it. And created this site so the upload identifies this site as mine from my own computer.

Gallery Preview: This is King Turkey, king of the barnyard that I drew in watercolor and graphite at about 3am last nite. I signed it, photographed it, uploaded it and posted it to this site because my other 2 cartooning sites are full, and because I want to keep the original story I wrote and illustrated and named "The Adventures of Lady Bugs that give picnics" on the top post of my https://cartooning-by-gloriapoole.blogspot.com blog.
Cartoons by Gloria
I, Gloria Poole, RN, artist , author, illustrator, blogger, writer, photographer, mother, white woman, christian, drew this sketch as a part of a mini-series of sketches of sunlight on various bodies of water. I keep trying to capture in some form the sparkle pure light on water, and the sense of peace, calm and power that it emits. So far, I have not accomplished that goal! But I try intermittently. I usually post my art-making mistakes [unless they're so bad I tear them up] so that others can see them too. I drew this with oil pastels on 8 x 11 cardstock paper that was tinted to begin with. Copyrighted.
Above is a cartoon I drew before, and it is not the cartoon I intended to add today but I had labeled it wrong. But since it took me 3 HOURS to update this site the last time, I do not have time to do all of that today, so it will have to suffice. It is watercolor on paper. Obviously it is a cartoon frog sitting as a human would sit, in a reedy background. I drew it, signed it, photographed it, uploaded it and posted it myself as usual. Copyrighted. Gloria Poole, RN, artist of /in Missouri also known as gloriapoole on the web, and simply as Gloria on art I create as a general rule.
I drew this and painted it today 17th April 2016 on 8 x 11 inch paper and I signed it, and photographed it and
uploaded it and posted it to this site of mine. I drew it first with graphite and then painted it with watercolor paint and a brush. The weird blue shapes are "clouds" . I named "cartoon snake that ate the
basketball" .Copyrighted, and I, gloriapoole / Gloria Poole, [Registered Nurse, artist in all art mediums, photographer at times, cartoonist at times, illustrator at times, writer, blogger, personhood promoter at all times] , own all rights to this account, to this site and to the accompanying blog and the account email, and the story I wrote and illustrated and named "The Adventures of Lady Bugs that give picnics" at :

"Blue-toed and friend Bird" cartoon created by Gloria Poole,RN,artist. It took 30 minutes of time and two logins to add this photo of this cartoon I drew and painted in watercolor, today 11th March 2016, because cyber-criminals tried to break into this blog to prevent update. This account ALWAYS belonged only to me Gloria Poole,Registered Nurse, and artist in all mediums from the beginning of it. I moved to Missouri in Oct 2009, and I brought with me all the art I had created.
in 99.9% of cases [a few were stolen in every place I have lived] . I drew this, painted it with a brush and water by converting watercolor pencils to watercolor. I signed it uploaded it, photographed it, and posted it today. This is on 6x8 inch watercolor specific paper.
I have the actual, tangible art I made
Above is cartoon I drew and painted today and named "Cock a doodle do, what are you? " . It is on 6 x8 watercolor paper and I drew and painted it first with watercolor pencils, then redrew portions of it with markers when it did not photograph well the first time. It's just for fun, no agenda or serious message! Copyrighted. Gloria Poole,RN, artist in Missouri, USA, on 26th Feb 2016 at 8:48am.
Above is a cartoon I drew and painted because it has snowed here in Missouri for past 2 days and everything is white! Those are my fingers on the bottom left edge holding the paper. I drew this with graphite, then painted it in places with watercolor [the bright colors] and a brush and painted it in spots with white acrylic and a brush. I signed it, photographed it more than once and uploaded it today 21 Jan 2016 at 10:35am to this site of mine specifically for simple cartoons create, to share them with viewers. Copyrighted.
