Aims

To deepen fellows’ understanding of the issues and practices regarding diversity within the community and CBO environment and to gain understanding in working with the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) related to CBPR

Objectives

By the end of this session, participants will:
  1. Understand how the community environment impacts organizational growth and change
  2. Understand why diversity leadership matters
  3. Learn how to overcome organizational and ethnic cultural barriers
  4. Learn the structure of SFUSD and how to partner with SFUSD on CBPR projects
