Your daughter is invited to attend Carrender Robotics Girl Powered Workshop on Saturday, October 13, 2018.
We would like to provide an all-inclusive workshop for girls with all levels of experience, of all nationalities and abilities giving them the freedom to explore and learn about robotics.

We will open up the event to girls ages 3rd to 12th grade. We will build robots, do programming challenges, speakers are women in industry, STEAM table booths, robot demonstrations, provide lunch, skills challenges, maker table.

A small participation fee will be charged to cover costs. We will provide two scholarships to girls who are in need and would not be able to afford the fee. Must provide proof of need. Apply directly to the program director.

Female mentors who would like to be involved in any capacity are welcomed. For example: speaker, inspirational stories, programming assistance, workshop activity, business models, general volunteer.

Girls will be in teams of 4-5. If girls request to be with their teammates we will do our best to accommodate their requests, but we cannot make guarantees.
