I made this Silverware Chest for my parents some 25 years ago to fit a specific silverware set. Since my Mom has now moved into a residence, she no longer needs it or its content and it was mine to take. The earthenware dish on top was a Christmas gift we gave them also a long time ago. A complicated piece to make but very rewarding.
Last night I was at a great mexican place here in Chicago called Fuego for a friend's birthday. There were a few cameras there, and we were taking pictures of everything. This is one of my shots. Just the silverware sitting on the table. Just playing around with the different lenses.
