I'm a doctoral student in the Anthropology department at the City University of New York's Graduate Center

This is a picture of me.

My current permanent address is in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York, where I live with my husband Tom Seufert, a grumpy old cat, some mostly second-hand furniture, and approximately thirteen million books (at last estimate).   Because Tom is in med school, he can only come to Nicaragua for about two months over the next year.  (At least that's his excuse.)  But he's being incredibly supportive, and will probably have acquired the equivalent of an honorary master's degree in anthropology by the time I'm done my degree.

My current research project is in the Matagalpa region of Nicaragua, Central America.  I hope to have more information up here about this soon.

Curriculum Vitae.  This is the most up-to-date version I have right now, although it's a few months old.

Research Proposal.  I'm already starting the research, but I'm still searching for funding!
