Chinese Brush Painting is an ancient and beautiful art, portraying delicate and simple brush strokes. The positioning of the strokes within the piece is important, and should create feelings of harmony, peace and tranquillity.
While living in Singapore in 2010, Caroline was inspired by her surroundings and other artists to invest in soft Chinese brushes, ink and parchment, and created some works of art featuring qin shou (animals and birds) such as sparrows, and hua hui (flowers) such as cherry blossom and bamboo.
