Safety and Property Committee
The Safety & Property Committee works closely with joint law enforcement agencies to increase security and reduce property crime throughout the CID service area; reviews statistics of crime trends; discusses code violations such as non-compliant signage, illegal vendors, neglect, property condition and blight that can attract loitering and crime, etc., and educates the owner community on crime prevention on property through workshops and direct contact.  Further, Committee helps contract security address situations in developing awareness of chronic “hot spots” and helps evaluate the overall effectiveness of service delivery.

Subcommittee: Homeless Response -  The Homeless Response Subcommittee reviews varied statistics to document and monitor the homeless situation in our service area.  Subcommittee develops a comprehensive understanding of resources available within the County of Sacramento to those of the homeless community who desire a true change out of their situation.  In an advisory capacity, recommends process and procedural standards for responsible CID interactions with such individuals toward linking recipients with external resources and specialists.

Outreach Committee
The committee cultivates and develops communication and enduring, productive relationships with our assessment payers, their business associates, and the greater community.  Positions CID and develops messaging to effectively communicate the organizations goals and objectives to the greater community.  Focal point for event and meeting planning for CID.  The Committee meets the second Wednesday of each month from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m.

Development & Advancement Committee
Seeks ways to best position Carmichael so it enjoys increased economic growth and vitality.  Reviews area land use and planning entitlement applications in relation to CID goals and objectives.  Attract resources and experts to create economic betterment for the ownership community within the CID service area.

Cleaning and Maintenance Committee
The Cleaning & Maintenance Committee supports the continued success of owners by setting standards and expectations for property conditions within the service area and works with ownership to maintain conditions in ways that boost business, regional desirability, and property values.
