The year 2017 was a time of building and creating for the Carmichael Improvement District. We organized our corporation, installed our initial board members crafted and adopted our governing documents, finalized our mutual agreement with the County of Sacramento, secured IRS recognition as a not-for-profit organization and engaged our management team. Most importantly, we started delivering security and maintenance services within our service area. Our core purposes are to deliver "Clean and Safe" services, encourage positive changes in streetscape and are a image, and foster economic prosperity within this central district of the Carmichael community. In all, our first year was one of solid development and growth.

We appreciate you visiting us on the web. On this site, you will find activity and project updates, board and committee calendars and material along with governing documents such as the Management District Plan with full detail on the expectations of the district. A bit of history on our grassroots formation effort is also offered.

The Carmichael Improvement District, Inc. (CID) is an IRS recognized Section 501(c)(6) mutual benefit nonprofit.
