MLA


MLA style is one of the easiest citation styles because it is often parenthetical (in text citations).

Instructions

Basically, you simply use the author's last name and the page number, at the end of the sentence - note there is NO COMMA.
  • Paul projected a hypothecial situation when he wrote Rom 14-15 (Karris 67-70).

For Bible passages, you DO NOT write out chapter and verse.
  • CORRECT: Rom 1:3
  • INCORRECT: Romans chapter one verse three
