I'm in Omaha finishing college. Creighton University.

Well the school situation is a little confusing but I am currently enrolled at Creighton University in Omaha. I am in the Paramedic Program there. The college where I will graduate from is Union college in Lincoln, Ne. I am finnishing up my end requirement for my degree in Omaha.   I am in school studying for a Bachelors of Science in International Rescue and Relief with a Paramedic Emphasis. Sounds like a lot but I love what I do. Its hard work but it will pay off in the end. The program I am in combines the work in the field along with a lot of class room time. Its not all fun and game although we tend to have a good time. Its a career of adventure and a lifetime of service. If you click on the pictures you can see them full size. If you want to see all of my pictures go to the bottom of the page and click on the link.  To view what is happening in my life and to read some of my stories click on the dates and titles on the left. I try to keep this updated as much as I can so check back once and awhile.

This Thanksgiving I was invited to go to Colorado with friends. We left early so we were able to spend ten days there. The picture above is is me with the Brass Family.  Theres some more info in my Dec 3rd entry.

Well, November 9th was the banquet here at Union. The theme was A Midsummer Night's Dream, as you can see I didn't exactly dress the part. I wasn't really excited about going because I was going by myself. But as the picture shows it all worked out in the end.

So why am I in a suit and why is Kay putting a blindfold on me? Well it has to do with a Formal Night of Randomness. It all starts with a phone call and a place to meet. The only thing I'm told is wear formal attire and it wont be awkward.  If you want more information just read about it in My Story's.

For the 08 Spring Break I went to California with a friend and this is one of the many things that we did. Skydiving from 15,000 feet with a 1000 feet of free fall.  Check out my story about California

Emily and I on the 28th of October (2007) at the UCfall Banquet. The theme was a night in Hong Kong. As you can see we didn't really dress the part but it was a lot of fun anyways. The Banquet was up in Omaha. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see more pictures on my Picasa web album.

Yeah, thats what I looked like this summer of 07 in Colorado.  I have a constant reminder of this on my drivers license.

These are a few of the great people in my life. From the left, Matt, Kaylea, Michelle. This picture was taken just after Matt and I cooked a huge dinner for 17 of our closest friends. It just so happened to be on my 21st  birthday so it made it all the better.     The Story of The Formal Dinner

This has to be my favorite picture of all. Kaylea, Michelle and I went to the park before our 06 finals just to relax and get away from the school life. I took my camera but Kaylea took most of the pictures. It was cold but we were having to much fun to really care.

Ah the great October camping trip. It was my first camping trip in Nebraska. We had decided to do something fun for our fall break so we planed a camping trip to the southeast conner of Nebraska. A huge campground called Indian Caves. It was a beautiful fall but with abnormal temperatures. We froze at during the nights but we got through it, it was a blast and we all had fun. From left to right, Ginger, me Michelle, Kaylea and Josh. The Campfire Story.

This picture was taken when I was home over Christmas break 06. Skiing has always been a huge part of my life. Being on the Ski Patrol has just made it even bigger for me. People always ask why I am in the field that I am and the NSP is what gave me my start. The people I work with at Nubs have known me forever and have become my Family. Emily and Jeff are in the picture.

This was taken a late fall 06 semester after church. If you look closely at my tie you can see all the skiers on it. We were praying for snow quite a bit then. We ended getting some while every body was gone for Christmas break. about the end of January the ground was covered with snow. Winters out here are not the same as home the snow really drifts so theres not to much in one particular spot.

Towards the end of the 06/07 winter we had a big snow storm here and the snow was very heavy and fell fast. We decided to build an igloo using storage bins. This is the final product. Four guys including myself slept in here over night. It was cold but a lot of fun.

Matt and I at the beginning of my time out at Union.  At the Sunken Gardens. I think we knew each other for like a 2 weeks at this time. But as you can see now we are great friends.

We had a 1941 banquet at the Grand Central Station, where we had to dress in the times. So a friend of mine went out and found a costume shop. I found a Navy Captains uniform. The night was a lot of fun. Shelina was my date, and a great one at that.

Here we are at the Toby Keith concert in Omaha. Awesome time awesome music and a great person to share it with. Thats Lorel with me, you may have herd me talk about here in conversation. The bands that played were Rushlow Harris, Joe Nichols and Toby Keith. This isn't the first big event she went with me to we also went to a minor league baseball game a month earlier.

Here is a trivia question for ya. Is it illegal to climb the walls of a capitol building? Apparently yes, and if your wondering no thats not me up there. I was running back to them telling them to get down because the cops were coming. You can imagine the rest.

If you hadn't heard I went of a road trip for the 07 spring break. Lincoln Ne to West Virginia, with many stops along the way. If you want to read about it just click on the link.  We all had a lot of fun. The picture is out side the Charleston capitol building.               The Road Trip Story

That would be me, I'm waiting for them to pull me back up to the bridge. What was I doing? Well your just going to have to ask. Would you jump off a bridge if your friends asked you to? Well I would be offended if they never asked.
