Quah Saw Han

I graduated from NUS with an honours degree in Psychology and obtained a Masters degree in Applied Psychology (Clinical) from Murdoch University, Perth, Australia.  I was a Senior Psychologist at the Psychological Services Unit with the Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports before joining NUS as a Ph.D. student with the Department of Psychology.  I have worked with children, young persons and their parents in relation to child protection, juvenile crime and family issues.  I received my Group Triple P practitioner certificate in 2001 and have been active in the adaptation and application of Triple P, as well as in the local evaluation research of Triple P.  I have a wide range of interests in clinical and health psychology: developmental disabilities, child abuse, child attachment, mental health (especially resilience and children of mentally ill parents), family therapy and cardiac psychology.
