South Florida is currently in the predicted path of Tropical Storm Erika (sustained winds of 45mph).

Now is time start preparing your personal kits and plans in case this continues to develop into a more intense weather event.

Current predictions are estimating that South Florida could feel effects beginning this weekend with possible Hurricane forces starting early next week.

D: Tropical Depression – wind speed less than 39 MPH
S: Tropical Storm – wind speed between 39 MPH and 73 MPH
