Welcome to C.I.C.E.R.

C.I.C.E.R. is a residency program which encourages creative exchanges between international persons of cultural interest and Cape Verdean Creatives.

We invite individuals whose backgrounds demonstrate histories of cultural productivity to join us in the Island of Santiago, Cape Verde, for a collective project.  The projects are then shared with the different communities in the Islands.

Residents are also provided with the space and time to develop and explore their own reasons for wanting to experience the cultures of Cape Verde.

Missions Statement

Our mission here at C.I.C.E.R. is to create and organize creative humanitarian projects and to provide invited residents a positive, productive and contributive experience as they engage themselves through a process of investigation and activity in the Island.  We will always do our best to carry forward to their completion any projects we undertake and to provide a space for residents where discourse and personality are welcomed.

We will always respond to any queries visitors should have regarding any information found on our website or subsequent information provide once they have been invited to participate as residents, project assistants or donors.  We are always looking for any suggestions, comments, questions or even answers, which will make our site, projects and residency a better and more fulfilling experience for all who participate.  We look forward to hearing from you via the Contact Us page or by email: cicercommittee@gmail.com.
