Mom's Christmas cookies are my favorite holiday tradition
Mom's Christmas cookies are my favorite holiday tradition
My Mom is an excellent cook, and she makes the best Christmas cookies of all! This year, she even made the jelly in the thumbprints. I haven't had Mom's homemade elderberry jelly in thumbprint cookies since I was a little boy, so they are a special treat to have again this year, along with the pecan tarts, peanut butter blossoms, oatmeal raisin, Toll House chocolate chip, and orange candy cookies. Mom's been very busy baking, and I've been very good, and not pillaged the tins before gift platters were loaded for family and friends. Wishing you all the Merriest of Christmases and warmest of all holiday wishes!
