What's wrong with my Sprint Overdrive?
What's wrong with my Sprint Overdrive?
First, I'd like to say that I love this thing. I got it on Friday (ordered online the day before and received it with free shipping in less than 18 hours!) and used it all weekend in Philadelphia and DC (apparently there is 4G in DC but it's currently very spotty still). So here's my deal: I left the Overdrive on due to me falling asleep while watching Hulu overnight. I woke up and everything was off and noticed that my Overdrive was "off". Apparently the screen was just black cause the unit was still warm to the touch. I unplugged it, took it to work and tried to turn it on. Well, it goes to the booting screen and sometimes it'll ask me to "confirm" the connection by pressing the power button. At times, the screen will go back before or right after I click the power button to confirm. I've tried taking the battery out, resetting the unit, etc etc with no resolution. Called Sprint Tech and they have never heard of this issue. So now I'm taking it to a Sprint store. I do have the latest firmware and have been using it since Friday (3 days total so far). Anyone else experiencing this? I can't seem to find anything on the web with people having this similar issue. I've been going through this ALL day with my Overdrive. It's just loops over and over again. Heading to my local Sprint store today to see what the tech support group can do
Wireless waste
Wireless waste
A ton of wireless networks and I still had to switch back to using my iPhone's hotspot as none of the free alternatives (or even Coffeehouse's Maxinetti) worked. Do I smell a business opportunity?
